About GraceSLO

Thanks for stopping by.  We hope you'll come worship with us at our historic GraceSLO Campus or our newest campus, Grace5Cities.  We are one church that meets in more than one location.  While each campus is unique and has it's own flavor, we share a single vision . . . to live the Gospel to the glory of God.   We believe the Gospel, the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ, is not just truth to be believed, it is truth to be lived.  We invite you to join us.

Getting Here & Parking

Sunday services happen at 8, 9:30 and 11 AM.  Our SLO Campus is located in downtown San Luis Obispo on the corner of Pismo and Osos Streets across from Mitchell Park.  Check out the map below for directions.  Our SLO Campus is a church without parking lot, but there is lots of street parking around in the park and in several nearby business lots.  You may also park in the nearby parking structure on the corner of Pacific and Morro Streets just a half block from the church.

Whether you are coming in at the Pismo or Osos sides of the campus, look for the directional banners for kids classrooms, youth and college.  If you need help, we encourage you to check in at one of our two Welcome Centers on either side of the campus.  There you will meet friendly folks who will walk you to where you need to go.

Come as You Are

When you come to worship with us, you'll see some  wearing shorts, some wearing suits and everything in between.  Please wear what you are most comfortable wearing.   Most people who woship with us dress pretty casually.

What to Expect

A warm friendly welcome.  You are our guest and our desire is that you feel our welcome.

A diverse, intergenerational church family.  Grace is a place where college students, families and adults of all ages and life stages worship together.  We welcome children in our worship services and encourage 'Family Worship.'

Relevant systematic teaching from the Bible.  We believe that the Bible is not a book of rules or a book of good advice, but a story of redemption that climaxes in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

Eclectic, Gospel-centered worship.  Our music is varied and diverse, including a range of styles and instrumentation.   Our contemporary worship teams are complemented by an orchestra, choirs and the inclusion of an organ.

Grace Central Coast is built upon a foundation of 50+ Growth Groups.  Growth Groups are groups of 6-12 adults who meet together for prayer, care, Bible study, serving and outreach.  Jumping into a Growth Group is the very best way to connect and get to know others at Grace and our highest priority beyond the worship service.

I'm passionate about the power of the Gospel to transform lives, families and communities here on the Central Coast!  I'm committed to an authentic, Gospel-centered approach to the Bible and consider it a great joy and privilege to teach the power and relevance of the Bible to all of life.  Our family of 6 is crazy busy just like yours, but we fight for our time together and love living and serving here on the Central Coast.

Come Serve With Us

Because Jesus served us, it is our great joy to serve one another.  There's lots places to serve at GraceSLO, but here's a few of our most urgent needs:

  • Welcome First Impressions Team
  • Worship Team
  • Tech Team
  • GraceKids Team
  • GraceYouth Team

If you're interested in serving on one of these teams or somewhere else, let us know!

We consider it a privilege and a joy to care for your kids. It is a responsibility we take seriously.  Our desire is to provide your child with a safe, secure and loving environment where they can grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We consider ourselves as partners with you in the joys and challenges of Biblical parenting and instruction.

At Grace, we're committed to both 'age-integrated' and 'age-segregated' learning.  What does that mean?

On the one hand, we're committed to encouraging parents and children to worship and learn together by attending our worship services together.  We call this 'Family Worship.'  So bring your kids to worship with you at GraceSLO.  You will not be alone when you do.

At the same time, we're committed to an excellent and multi-faceted Children's Ministry where children learn, grow and have fun in settings that are geared for them.

This is a week long summer program for kids going into 5th & 6th grades. The kids complete a service project and become grounded in Biblical Truth while having fun at the beach, waterslides, Boomers & bowling.

Safety is our highest priority.

We know if you're worried, you won't be able to worship.  We take the safety of all kids extremely seriously.  All of our classes are staffed by loving and caring teachers who have gone through our extensive screening and fingerprinting process.  No child is ever left alone with a single adult.  Parents can worship worry-free knowing we will text or page them if their little one needs them.'

Parent-Child Dedication

Multiple times a year, we take time in our worship services for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord and themselves to the joys and challenges of Gospel parenting.  It's a special time in the life of our church.

A Commitment to
Family Worship

In many churches, parents are discouraged from bringing their kids into worship services. The opposite is true at Grace. We're committed to Family Worship.  We believe it's vital for families to worship together.

Child Wellness Policy

If your child is ill, we ask that you please keep them at home out of consideration of other children and their families. Please do not bring your baby to the nursery or the Family/Cry Room Room if they have any of the following symptoms:

  • Runny Nose
  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Vomiting
  • Any other contagious
    childhood ailment

GraceYouth   |   Middle & High School

Our vision at GraceYouth is simple. Know. Grow. Go. We want all our students to know the gospel, grow in their understanding of it, and then go into the world to serve and share that good news with others. We have a decades long legacy of an intentional and growing youth ministry here on the Central Coast and by God’s grace and power we plan to maintain that for the decades to come.

We have one mid-week and two Sunday morning gatherings. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm to have fun, connect with each other, and study God’s Word. On Sundays we sit together during the 9:30am main service in front of the tech booth for worship through music and learning from God’s Word with the larger church family. Then at 11am we head downstairs to “The Basement” for youth group. We spend that time connecting, playing a quick game, and then discussing what we learned in main service and how it applies to the way we live our lives everyday. Both our High School (9th-12th) and Middle School (7th-8th) students meet during this time. Have a question? Let us know by clicking the box below. Don’t forget to click the calendar link on the left for our most recent quarterly calendars. We hope to see you soon!

Resources & Stuff

Who We Are

GraceCollege is a gathering of college students who desire to more deeply think, feel, and thus apply the Good News of Jesus Christ. GraceCollege is not an alternative church service, but rather a complement to the main, multi-generational worship gathering of Grace Church.

In a world of dizzying diversity and distraction, we anchor ourselves in the timeless Word of God. In college, students are studying many truths, and we seek to interpret them in light of Jesus Christ, who said, “I am the truth”.

College students are not an island to themselves, but rather one community amidst the diversity of one united church community. We decry the spirit of our age, which asserts that personal preference trumps all else. Rather, we desire to live the Gospel by going out of our way to think of the needs and good of others, be they of a different generation, class, or culture. We do not worship the self, but seek to continually bring ourselves under the lordship of Christ in joyful obedience. College students are not primarily in need of therapeutic validation, but rather their primary need is to know God through continually responding to the good news of Jesus Christ.

What We Do

GraceCollege meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am in the Ministry Center. We gather in order to grow in our love for and knowledge of Christ, seeking together to grapple with the issues and questions facing this generation by studying and applying God’s Word.  We also host social events throughout the year in order to build relationships among students and also to reach out to students who would normally not gather with us on Sunday mornings.

Living Life Together

Grace is a big place!  It’s easy to get lost in the crowd. We all want the benefits of a large church, but we all need the experience of a small church. . . . a place where we can know and be known by others, a place where we can live the Gospel together.  We believe that Gospel transformation happens in the context of small groups where real relationships can be experienced and deepened.

We have identified Growth Groups as our 'Big Rock Priority' at Grace . . . the centerpiece around which we're going to build the rest of our ministry and events.  What that means is that our highest priority for all those who worship at GraceSLO, beyond attendance at the Sunday Morning Worship Service, is involvement in a Growth Group.

Realizing we're all busy and don't need any more to do, our leadership is on a mission to streamline and simplify our ministry so that the priority of Growth Groups is clear.  We want to do less, so that we can connect and care more.

Growth Groups are groups of 6-12 people who meet for 8 to 10 weeks at a time to . . .

  1. Care for one another.  The aim is to open up and share our lives with one another.
  2. Explore and apply God's Word together. Growth Groups are centered around the text and message of the previous Sunday.
  3. Pray together.  God has given us the opportunity to cast our cares on Him . . . let's do it together.

Growth Group Enrollment happens in September, January and March.

On Ramp Growth Group

To create a safe and welcoming environment for those either new to Grace or new to the growth group ministry to try a short-term growth group with the goals of either identifying a permanent leader and launching a new group or placing all participants in current existing groups. Grace SLO's Growth Group will meet on Sundays at 11am in Founder's Hall A starting on April 23rd.

Growth Group Buzz

Thinking about a Growth Group?

We recently asked folks involved in Growth Groups to share their experience and any words of encouragement for their Leaders/Shepherds?  We were delighted with these responses . . .

  • I enjoy going to growth group not only because it reminds me of what I learned on Sunday, but also because I am encouraged by the other people that go there. They are always happy to see me and they ask about my life, which makes me feel important. They are also older Christian adults that I can look up to as role models.

  • It is always good to be able to connect with other believers. Small groups lets you share and learn from others. You can know you are not alone in your walk with Christ.

  • We know a bunch of people at Grace, but it has been refreshing to get to know those in our Growth Group in a deeper way. It is such a privilege to both spur another in their faith as well as to be challenged in our own. And we are becoming a small community that cares for one another.

  • In the 3 years since the humble beginnings of our North County group, I have experienced the BLESSINGS of Christian fellowship during a challenging period of transition in my life.  I know God has brought each one of us together - and I have received comfort, encouragement, and caring during our Tuesday nights together in the quiet setting of Bob and Kathy's living room or around Eileen's dining room table.  I cannot speak enough of the impact of these weekly meetings on my daily life and on everyone in the group - so much so that we plan to gather during the summer.   I thank God for my Growth Group!

  • It has been a great time of fellowship together. We enjoy a meal together, encouragement and digging into God's Word together. We have such a sweet time together.

Our Desire

Are you looking for a place to belong, to be yourself and connect with other women?  Grace Women's Ministry is a safe place where you can find support and encouragement.  We are women of every age and stage in life, who desire to grow and be more like Jesus.  Our ministries offer you opportunity to GROW in your journey with God, CONNECT with other women in our Grace community and SERVE the church and our community.

Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful, GROW to maturity.  Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace, then the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11

GraceSLO has ongoing Bible Studies offered from September through May each year. This is a great way to learn more about God, start a relationship with Him, and grow in strength and wisdom, in His Word.

  • Thursday Morning Bible Study
Starting January 19th, we will dive into our Winter/Spring Elective series. We will offer 6 different studies to choose from. Each will be offered twice (6 weeks studies), so you get to choose 2. You will attend the first for 6 weeks and then switch to the second study for the last 6 weeks. This is a great way to get to know people and to get to do two shorter studies instead of one long one. The first day (Jan. 19th), all the studies will be highlighted and talked about. You will then be able to pay, and sign up that day. There will not be any early registration.
  • Women in Prayer

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:20
There is a group of ladies that meet to pray for one another, the church, our community, etc. It is a rich time of prayer together.  For more information contact Angela Anderson at 543-2358.

  • Women's Events
Women’s Mentoring Evening events are designed to be a relaxed, fun, and encouraging time where women choose to sit at tables according to subjects that intrigue them and spend time with a mentor table leader talking about the subject at hand (working women, parenting, marriage, divorce, spiritual life, etc.). Plan to join us. It is a great way to get to know other women in our church community and gain challenge and encouragement in our lives. And besides that, we have prizes, great food, and don’t forget laughter!
  • Heart to Heart
This is a peer to peer relationship where a woman of Grace comes alongside you to listen, pray and encourage you during difficult times. This can also be used for mentorship needs. Our mentor/counselors are not professionally trained, but have gone through trainings and book reads on how to be a lay counselor to their peers. This is for those who are seeking God’s wisdom, guidance and comfort. If you are interested, please contact Angela Anderson at the church office, 543-2358, or email at angela@graceslo.org. Our desire is to be Titus 2 women who are there for one another, through thick and thin.

  • New Beginnings
We would love to begin a monthly gathering for Senior Widows.  If interested in being in the group or helping start the group, please contact Angela Anderson at 543-2358 or email angela@graceslo.org.
  • MOPS
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. We know it’s a little confusing so let’s just stick with “MOPS.” We believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying alongside one another. They meet monthly at the Grace SLO campus. The group is currently full for the Winter/Spring semester but stay tuned for Fall of 2017.

  • Mom's in Prayer
This is a prayer ministry of moms who gather together to pray for their children, their schools, their teachers and administration.  The parents of Middle School and High School students prayer group meets Wednesday mornings at SLO First Baptist Church from 8:30-9:45 am starting September 16th.  Email Cindy Frauenheim at mcfrauen88@gmail.com for more information.
  • Love from MOM
This is a ministry for moms of post-high school children who desire to pray for their kids, connect with other moms in the same stage and send care packages to those living away for college.  We meet the 4th Tuesday of the month during the school year from 1-2 pm to assemble care packages and pray for our college-aged children.  Contact Liesl O’Brien at 805-471-5819 for more information.

  • Operation Christmas Child
Every November, our Women's Ministry (through Bible Study) fills boxes and sends them off for Operation Christmas Child.  If you would like to be involved in this, contact Angela Anderson at 543-2358 or email angela@graceslo.org.
  • Royal Family Kids Camp
In May, our ladies gather together to help prep the many crafts, blankets and whatever is needed to support this week long camp ministry for foster children in SLO county. For more information email Sharon Ernstom at sharlaughs@gmail.com.
  • Take Them a Meal
This is a wonderful ministry of taking meals to our new moms, those that are in crisis or are sick in our church.  If you would like to help out with this ministry email Jenny Nanninga at jenanninga@hotmail.com.

Men's Ministry

Not more, but strategic.

Our vision is to equip men for servant leadership in the home and church.   We believe relationships between men are critical to this process.  Our priority for men is that they would get involved in Growth Groups (with their wives, if they have one).  Beyond Growth Groups, we seek to challenge men toward leadership and godliness, not through an overwhelming array of activities and events that pull them away from their families, but through a few strategic gatherings, weekly morning studies for men and sports stuff.

Here's a list of current Men's events, studies and sports stuff. . .

Men's Huddles: Our MEN'S HUDDLES are a time for all men – dads, sons, married, single, young or old – to hang out with each other! Join us for a time of fellowship, BBQ and games at our next Huddle.  If you have any questions you can email Pastor Ken at ken@graceslo.org.

Men's Getaways: Our MEN'S GETAWAYS are a time of relaxation and spiritual growth for men at every stage of life. In the past, we've spent a weekend away at Bass Lake - hiking, biking, connecting and diving into God's Word. Mark your calendars for our next Getaway on OCTOBER 20-22, 2017. More information to come!

Some studies will be taking a break during summer, contact the specific group's leader to find out!

  • Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30 AM @ GraceSLO (Fireside Room)

The Letter to the Hebrews points us believers to the author and finisher of our faith -- Jesus Christ our Lord. In Hebrews he is depicted as Son of God as well as the one who humbled himself to be human, 'made like his brothers in every way.' He is both our Sacrifice for sin as well as our merciful High Priest who brings us to God and strengthens us when we are weak. The book explains the costliness and the completeness of our salvation. Hebrews is one of the most powerful books in the New Testament.  Come join us as we do an in-depth study of the book of Hebrews.

Grace Seniors Ministry

We have folks in their 50’s through their 90’s involved in ministry here at Grace who are a sweet blessing and a key part of our body. While the definition of Seniors today is not an easy one to figure out, those in their 50's and above are welcome to join our Grace Seniors ministry. We look to find ways for our Seniors to enjoy fellowship together as well as to encourage them in their ministry to our church and community. We want to challenge our seniors to be connecting, growing, mentoring, serving, reaching out & enjoying life together.

Young Careers

Post-College & Young Married, without Kids

One of the groups offered here at Grace is for our Young Careers.  Whether you just graduated college, are settled in a career or are just figuring it out, we'd love to have you join us anytime you can.  We seek to bring this group together to provide opportunities to connect, worship and serve together as a sweet part of our GraceCentralCoast community.  We have a couple Young Career Growth Groups that meet weekly, connecting over sermon-based discussions in a home environment.  Growth Groups are active from the fall through the spring.

“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life, he who comes to Me will not hunger,
and he who believes in Me will never thirst.” John 6:35

“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink;
I was a stranger, and you invited Me in.'  Matthew 25: 35

The Story of God's Storehouse....

God's Storehouse is a Food Pantry overseen by the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County.  It currently serves about 100 needy families every Saturday here in SLO . In the past it has been managed by Mary Baum, who is in her 90s and has attended SLO Naz here in town, for about 30 years. Understandably, Mary was looking to step down...and God brought this community ministry possibility before us as an opportunity to love and serve the needy in our community...not merely with food, but with the love & Gospel of Jesus.

Tim Arlen was very involved with God’s Storehouse for years and shared with Pastors Tim and Ken about the possibility of taking over the ministry.  Pastor Ken, along with Tim Arlen, began looking into it and became more and more excited to see God’s hand at work, in leading us to manage God’s Storehouse.

As our ministry staff spent time talking and praying, they too became excited, but felt a key to moving forward was to share with our body to see if some would step forward to help lead this ministry here at Grace. Pastor Ken shared this ministry opportunity on a Sunday morning and the response was very positive, as was our body's willingness to serve and step forward to lead it. We then presented a proposal to our Elders, and then following their approval, to our Finance and Facility Trustees.  All of these leadership teams gave approval to continue moving forward. We then set up our God’s Storehouse Management Team who has been, and will keep working very hard.

Who is our God's Storehouse Management Team?

Annie Schmidt, Camille DeBruin, Craig Hughes, Dan Helbert, Janice Nanninga, John Kelly, Aracelli Kelly, John Groves, Julie Theule, Ken Peet, Marguerite Thomas, Michael Nuzum, Bev & Dale Barrett and Steve Thomas.

If you have any questions related to God's Storehouse please contact Ken Peet at 805.543.2358 ext. 104 or email ken@graceslo.org.

Firstfruits Farms

The Firstfruits Farm ministry was established in 2013 as a joint effort of Grace Central Coast and Trinity Presbyterian Church, SLO, with the goal of providing fresh produce to Grace's God’s Storehouse program. It continues to be run by an operations team made up of members of both churches, with Trinity Presbyterian Church overseeing the ministry. In the most recent growing season, its volunteers (including members of community organizations such as GleanSLO) provided 15,000 pounds of organic vegetables free of charge to God’s Storehouse, the San Luis Obispo Women’s Shelter, the San Luis Obispo Veteran's Center, the Salvation Army, and a low-income senior housing facility. Firstfruits Farm is dedicated to growing fresh and healthy organic fruits and vegetables for the economically disadvantaged in our community. The farm generates no income and is completely non-profit and volunteer-run. In 2016, Firstfruits has expanded to a second site and is cultivating both row crops and an orchard. In addition to financial support, the farm has a real need for labor to make all this happen, and there are opportunities to help with irrigation, construction, planting, growing, harvesting, and transporting crops. Any contribution you can make will have a direct positive impact on the lives of hundreds of families on the Central Coast. For more information, visit firstfruitsslo.org

Homeless Shelter Ministries

Serving the homeless is a great way to reach out with the love of Christ to the most needy in our community. You can help serve the homeless by volunteering for the Overflow Homeless Shelter at GraceSLO or by serving meals at the Homeless Shelter.

Overflow Homeless Shelter
GraceSLO partners with the Homeless shelter and other churches to house homeless families for two months each year. Opportunities to serve include playing with the kids, helping kids with homework, cooking breakfast, visiting and building relationships with the people.  Contact Kirt Collins 805.801.3293.

There is a service in our community that feeds the homeless people a warm lunch every day of the year and we at Grace Church have the privilege of serving this group of people a 1-2 times a month. There is a need though for one of the times we serve lunch, the 3rd Thursday of every month. We are looking for a group of people to train and rotate in when others are sick, on vacation, or working. The time commitment is 1 hour of serving lunch plus prep time to prepare the food. Please call Tim Tryon for more information 543-9238.

Orphan & Foster Care Ministry

At Grace, three realities compel us toward the care of orphans through adoption and foster care.  The first is the reality that the family is God's thing.  God designed and ordained marriage and the human family as the building block of human society and human flourishing.  Therefore, children belong in families.  The second is the reality that the Gospel is all about adoption.  The Gospel is the good news of God's grace in the person and saving work of Jesus Christ to bring lost, blind, spiritually dead sinners into His eternal family.  As those who have been adopted, we are eager to promote and practice adoption and foster care.  The third is the reality that the Bible speaks repeatedly about God's care and our responsibility to care for orphans, as the people of God.   (Deut.10:18, Ps.10:14, Is. 1:17, Jer. 22:3, Jam. 1:27).   The Gospel compels us toward gracious care.

These 3 realities give rise to our mission and vision.  Our mission is to celebrate, proclaim and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ by caring for orphans and children in need of families. Our vision is to encourage and support both local and international adoptions as well as foster care among the Grace family so that we might see the lives of orphans and children in need of families transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We pursue this mission and vision through the oversight of the Grace Adoption Fund and through ongoing efforts to promote and educate the Grace Family about the joys, challenges, and opportunities to care for orphans and children in need.

Welcoming Children Home Orphan Conference

The purpose of this annual Central Coast Orphan Care Conference is to motivate and inform Christians of both the Biblical call and the needs of orphans.  There are three tracks: 1) for those interested in foster care and adoption; 2) for those with adopted kids who need more support and training; 3) those who are wanting to care for orphans globally and domestically but not called to adopt.

The Grace Central Coast Adoption Fund

The Grace Adoption Fund has been established by Grace to help families at Grace overcome the financial obstacle of adoption.  The cost of many forms of adoption seems financially impossible to many Christian couples.  That reality results in thousands of children remaining in orphanages or being adopted by unbelievers instead of learning the gospel of Jesus Christ in a forever family.  God has commanded His people – the Church – to care for those in need. We believe God wants to use His church as part of a couple’s financial provision in adoption.

For more information or to request financial assistance for your adoption, please contact the Adoption & Fostercare Adoption Team at adoption@graceslo.org

Sanctity of Life Ministry

Our ministry exists to encourage and support the Sanctity of Life, a whole life belief that ALL life is to be respected and protected from conception to natural death.  As our Lord commands, we honor people in every stage of life - from the preborn to the support for mothers who are faced with a challenging pregnancy, to those suffering from post-abortive issues, those with special needs, the elderly and the shut-in.  For more information or to join our mailing list, contact us at sanctityoflife@gracecentralcoast.org.

The following are outreach opportunities that reflect and encourage a whole life focus, belief and purpose:

Tree of Life Pregnancy Support Center: We support Tree of Life in its efforts to support women facing an unplanned pregnancy where they'll find caring help, hope, positive options and practical help from friendly and knowledgeable staff and volunteers.

40 Days for Life: The largest prayer ministry in the world, this international group gathers to pray for an end to abortion, the leading cause of death across the globe.

Prayer Care Partners: We serve and interact to bring love, hope, and comfort through the Good News of the Scripture and life-giving prayer to the elderly and infirm in our Senior Living Communities.

Sanctity of Life Newsletters: join our Sanctity of Life Ministry and receive and newsletter displaying local ministry activities, pivotal information, and suggestions for book reading to further your own understanding of whole life issues.

Jail Ministry

Here is an opportunity to build relationships with people behind bars, showing the love of Jesus by visiting them and communicating to them that they are valuable and not forgotten. Contact the Church office 543-2358 or email Pastor Ken.

Caring Callers

Visiting seniors at their homes or visiting people in the hospital is a great way to live out the Gospel. Individuals and/or families have the opportunity to form relationships with seniors from Grace Church and to pray with people who have been hospitalized.
Contact Ken Peet, 543-2358.

Caring Meals

Preparing a meal is a caring and practical way to be a neighbor to someone going through a time of trial or change. Opportunities include helping a new mom and dad with dinner or taking a meal to a person who is home after surgery. To help provide a meal, email Jenny Nanninga to get on the list.

Care Fund Financial Assistance

Helping those in need through financial assistance.
From clothes, food and gas to utility bills and rent we become neighbors to the poor in our community, demonstrating that Jesus cares for them and so do we. Our desire is to be “a church in the community, serving the community.”  To that end, we desire to meet real and felt needs of those in our community.  If you would like to give to the ministry, click here or contact the church office 543-2358.

Bereavement Care Team

Helping a family grieving the loss of a loved one is a way to “weep with those who weep”. This team organizes a meal after a funeral or memorial service to help family and friends focus on what they need to during that time. Contact Cyndie Hamley, 544-1554, if you'd like to help with these meals.

Prayer Ministries

Praying is a way we admit we are powerless without God to do anything of lasting value. At Grace we want to pray continually and purposefully, seeking God’s power in all situations.

Prayer Chain
Where there is an urgent prayer need the Prayer Chain begins contacting many people who will then faithfully pray to our loving God for that need. Contact the church office, 543-2358.
Drawing Near
Every Wednesday the Grace Church group, Drawing Near, meets for a concentrated time of prayer for the needs of the church and our community. Drawing Near meets at 6:00 PM in the Fireside Room.

Pastoral Counseling

If you would like to meet with a pastor to discuss emotional, physical or spiritual needs please contact the church office at 543-2358 and ask to leave a message for Leon Maksoudian, or email Leon directly.
