Thank you for your faithful giving to Grace Central Coast. Your giving makes all our ministries possible as we seek to help people find and follow Jesus. The end of the year is fast approaching and we want to share some tips to make your year-end giving easier.
Church Center App
The easiest way to make your contribution and ensure your gift is received in 2024. It only takes a few minutes to download the app and you can donate using a debit card, credit card or ACH. Once connected, you can manage your giving securely and conveniently using an iOS or Android phone.
Online
You can also make your year-end secure donation HERE by December 31.
By mail
If you're planning to mail your charitable gift this year, it must be postmarked on or before December 31 to be counted as a 2024 contribution. Mail a check to: Grace Central Coast, PO Box 33, San Luis Obispo, CA 93406
In Person
Leave cash or check in our Sunday offering bag or drop off at our Welcome area on Sundays at any of our three physical campuses.
Gift of stock
If you have stock or ETFs that you have owned for over one year, you may donate it to Grace Central Coast and use its fair market value (as defined by IRS) as of the date the gift is completed as the amount of your donation. To transfer stock by Depository Trust Company (DTC) wire, please call your stock broker with the following wire transfer information:
Charles Schwab, DTC Number: 0164, Account Number: 2821-1797
Important! Please contact Grace Central Coast at the contact information below or reach out to our broker, Jake Rothman at jake@rothmaninvest.com to notify us of your plans to transfer stock to help ensure that your gift is properly acknowledged when it arrives.
Give through your Donor Advised Fund
You can recommend a gift to Grace Central Coast from your donor advised fund. Please contact your donor advised fund representative to initiate this request.
Make a gift with a charitable IRA rollover
Individual retirement arrangement (IRA) owners age 70½ and older can make up to $105,000 in tax-free charitable donations during 2024 through qualified charitable distributions. For those age 73 or older, qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) also count toward the year's required minimum distribution (RMD). Generally, IRA distributions are taxable, but QCDs remain tax-free if sent directly to a qualified charity by the trustee.
To make a QCD for the benefit of Grace Central Coast for 2024, contact your IRA trustee as soon as possible and identify Grace Central Coast as the beneficiary to ensure the transaction completes by year-end.
Matching gifts
Many employers have matching gift programs, which is a great way to double or even triple your support. Some even match volunteer time by employees and often retirees. If you haven't already, we recommend checking with your employer.
Please contact our Finance Director, Wendy Forester by phone at 805-543-2358 or wendy@gracecentralcoast.org if you have any questions or need additional information.
Thank you for your support as we help people find and follow Jesus together!
